White Earth Campground is located on Canyon Ferry Reservoir.
This is a 35,000-acre lake 50 miles downstream from where the Missouri, Jefferson, Gallatin, and Madison rivers join. Popular fishing for Walleye, Perch, Ling, and Rainbow Trout. There are 3 marinas. Boat rentals available. Each site has a table and fire ring. Vaults toilets and water available. Boat launch close. Popular for boating, water skiing, swimming, and fishing.
There are 36 campsites. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. There is a shelter for day use that has 8 picnic tables and electrical power. Next to the shelter are 5 more campsites. Vault toilets and water during the open season. Boat launch nearby for boating and fishing. $8/night for a single site. Maximum stay is 14 days. Open all year..... service seasonal.
Directions: Located 13 miles north of Townsend on US Hwy 287 to Winston. Then 5 miles east on County Road.
