This facility is available only in the winter, and the area offers both motorized and non-motorized recreation opportunities. It is a completely restored ranger station facility with very comfortable heating, a kitchen area, and refinished wood floors.
General Notes: The cabin facilities include: kitchen utensils, skillets, pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups & glasses; propane range/oven (conventional home-style unit), small microwave, refrigerator; propane heater, large wooden table with 10 chairs, leather couch and loveseat with end tables, lamps and large area rug, office desk/chair, telephone for local and calling card calls only, 8 twin size cot/beds with mattress protector covering (all of which are located on the second floor via a narrow enclosed stairway), cleaning supplies such as broom/dustpan, mop, dust mop, vacuum cleaner, RV antifreeze for sink drain, fire extinguishers and smoke alarms, first aid kit located in the kitchen. This cabin holds a maximum of 8 people. There is electricity throughout the cabin. The heat is provided by a propane heater. There is a standing, hand-operated water hydrant near the porch.
