At 4100 ft elevation lies Monture Campground.  This 6 site campground is along the Monture Creek and adjacent to the Monture trailhead.  Each site has a picnic table and fire ring.  Vault toilets available.  No water.  Fishing in the creek.  Within 11 miles of the Bob Marshall and Scapegoat wilderness. No fee for camping.  Maximum stay is 14 days.  Open May 15 through September 30.

Directions: From the junction of Montana highways 83 and 20 (also known as "Clearwater Junction") travel east on Highway 200 for 12.5 miles. Turn north on Monture Road #89 and drive 7.5 miles on a good gravel road.
