Devil's Creek Campground is located on Fort Peck Lake. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets available, but no water.
Fort Peck Lake is formed by the Fort Peck Dam in 1940. It is the largest lake in Montana located in one of the most remote areas of Montana. Glasgow in the closest town. Fort Peck Lake lies within the Charles M. Russell Wildlife Refuge. Very few trees in this area. Boat ramp nearby. Famous for Walleye fishing. Each year the Governor's Cup is held here. The lake is large and can be very windy. Waves can be large, so larger boats are recommended. Open all year round.
Directions: Devil's Creek Campground is 48 miles northwest of Jordan on County Road. Primitive, when wet, the last 20 miles of road are impassable. There are steep and twisted sections of the road on the last 6 miles.
