Caribou Campground is a 3 site campground located in the Kootenai National Forest 3.5 miles south of the US/Canadian border. Each site has a fire ring and picnic table. This small campground is adjacent to Caribou Creek. Vaulted toilets available but no water. Maximum trailer length 24 feet. No fee for camping. The maximum stay is 14 days. Services May 20 through September 30.
Directions: From Troy, travel 9.5 miles to the junction with State Hwy 508. Turn right and follow for 52 miles to campground entrance. Showers, laundry, and ice are located at the Dirty Shame in Yaak.
