This 10 site campground has 3 pull-throughs and no hookups and is adjacent to Howard Lake.  Some sites overlook the lake. “Libby Creek Gold Panning’ are is close by and recreational panning is permitted.  Each site has a table and fire ring.  Howard Lake is 416-acres. Boating, fishing for Rainbow Trout and hiking is popular.  Open seasonal Memorial Day weekend through December 1 with services provided Memorial Day weekend through December 1-weather dependent.  Vault toilets are available but no water.  $8/day fee with a maximum stay of 14 days.

DIRECTIONS: From Libby, MT, take US Rt. 2 east 23.9 miles to West Fisher Cr/Forest Rt. 231 sign.  Turn right at the sign onto a narrow dirt road and go 15.2 miles to Howard Lake campground sign - at "T" intersection.  Turn left at the intersection and go 1 mile to the campground.
