There are 44 sites on this campground that are split by the Yaak River. The sites are secluded in a heavily wooded area. There are 8 pull-throughs with no hookups. A primitive boat ramp is at the campground to put in boats and rafts to float on the Kootenai River. Each site has a table and fire ring. Vault toilets and 2 water spigots available. One can fish for Whitefish, Rainbow, and Cutthroat Trout. Open seasonal Memorial Day through mid-September. $10/day with a maximum stay of 14 days.
DIRECTIONS: From Troy, MT, take US Rt. 2 west for 7.6 miles to campground symbol sign. Turn left into the campground on the east side of Yaak River or left on the west side of Yaak River. A sign identifying campground is not visible from Rt. 2.
