Barron Creek Campground is on the west side of the Lake Koocanusa in the Kootenai National Forest. There are 7 campsites. Each with a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets available, but no water. Boat ramp with a dock. This is a pack in pack out campground. No fee for camping. Maximum stay is 14 days. Open all year round.
Directions: From Libby, travel 13.6 miles northeast on HWY 37. Turn left onto forest development road 228 north for 12.4 miles to Barron Creek access road 4849, turn right.
