General info

This 31 site campground at 6,180ft elevation is located above Emerald Lake and along the West Rosebud Creek.  Enjoy the beautiful view of the Beartooth mountains.  Each site has a table and fire ring.  Vault toilets and 2 hand pump water spigots are available on the campground. The 5 acre Emerald Lake does not allow motor boats, however, the lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout for fishing. Open all year with services provided May 24 through September 8.

DIRECTIONS: From Fishtail, MT, take State Rt. 419 west 0.5 miles to West Rosebud Rd. sign.  Turn left onto West Rosebud Rd. and go 6.5 miles to West Rosebud Road No. 72 sign.  Turn left at West Rosebud Road No. 72 sign and go 12.6 miles to campground.
