Open all year round, this 18 site campground at 6,220ft elevation is located on the Main Fork of Rock Creek with a view of the Beartooth Mountain Range. Each site has a table and fire rings. There are vault toilets and1 hand-pumped water spigot on the campground. Services are provided May 24 through September 8. East Rosebud Lake is a 75-acre private lake. Hiking and fishing for Rainbow Trout are popular. $9/day with a maximum 10-day stay.
DIRECTIONS: From Absarokee, MT, take State Rt. 78 south for 12.5 miles to East Rosebud Rd. (in Roscoe, Mt.). Turn right onto East Rosebud Rd. and go 14.5 miles to the campground.
