Near Red Lodge Moutain Ski Resort and Palisades Geological formation, this campground sits along the Madison River. Beautiful views of the Madison mountain range. There are 6 campsites each with a table and fire ring.  Vaulted toilets no water.  Pack in pack out. Proper food storage must be practiced since this is bear country. Open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend, weather dependent.  Fee for the site.  Maximum stay 14 days.  

Directions:  Drive north on US Hwy 212 towards Red Lodge for 0.3 miles.  Turn left (west) onto the West Fork Rd and drive 1.1 miles.  Turn right onto Pallisades Campground Rd (unpaved).  Drive 1.5 miles to Palisades Campground.
