There are 6 campsites at the Rattin Campground that sits along the Main Fork of Rock Creek in the Custer Gallatin National Forest. Each site has a picnic table and a fire ring. Toilets and water available. The Beartooth Pass is one of the most beautiful drives. The pass reaches 10,900ft elevation. Proper food storage is required since this is bear country. There are some bear-resistant containers at the campground. $15/night fee for camping. Maximum stay is 16 days. Open May 12 through September 26.
Directions: From Beartooth Ranger District office: Drive south out of Red Lodge on US Hwy 212 for 3.7 miles. Turn left onto the East Side Rd. Drive 3.1 miles to the campground, on your right.
