The longest celebration in the state is organized by some of the smallest towns in the state. The exhibits stretch for twenty-five miles and the population along that route is about one person per mile. Utica days has been celebrated for quite a few years and now Hobson is helping out. The main attraction is the competition involving sculptures made of bails of hay and not a whole lot more, but a whole lot of hay! The creativity will astound and amuse you! Competition has grown quite fierce and “grows” every year, even involving other neighboring communities. There is even a bazaar and various vendors, including the local church and others.
