There are 6 different campgrounds ( Pee Wee North, Campers Point, Rattlesnake, Sand Point, and below the dam) that make up a total of 156 sites. Some reservable. Some sites have electrical hookups. Each site has a table and fire ring. Vault toilets and water available. Boat ramp nearby. boating and fishing for Bass, Crappie, Northern Pike, and Walleye are popular. This 12-mile long reservoir is located in a beautiful, scenic red shale, juniper canyons, and prairie. Fee for sites. Maximum stay 14 days.
Directions: Tongue River Reservoir State Park is located 6 miles North of Decker on Secondary 314, then 1 Mile East on County Road.
