At 4,500ft elevation, this pack in pack out campground offers 13 campsites each with a table and fire ring. It's located on the east side of the Painted Rocks Reservoir. The campground is 6 acres in the Bitterroot National Forest. Vaulted toilets but no water available. Boat ramp close by. Boating, fishing, hiking, and wildlife viewing are enjoyed here. Proper food storage should be practiced, this is bear country. No fee. Maximum stay is 14 days. Open all year weather dependant.
Directions: From Darby Montana drive south on State Highway 93 turn south (right) on West Fork Road (towards Painted Rocks State Park). Travel approximately 23.6 miles. The campground is located on the east (left) side of the road.
