This beautiful state park offers 25 campsites in the West Fork Valley of the Bitterroot Mountains. The name came from the array of colors of the lichen that covers the granite cliffs. Elk, black bear, moose, and white-tailed deer frequent this park. Each site has a table and fire ring. Activities: camping, fishing, boating, hiking, picnicking, swimming, and, wildlife viewing. Open year-round. Fee for the site.
Directions: Head west on E Miles Ave toward N Water St. Turn left at the 1st cross street onto N Water St. Turn right onto E Southwick Ave. Turn left onto US-93 S/S Main St. Turn right onto State Hwy 473. The campground will be on the right.
