There are 5 campsites that sit under the towering cliff faces of the Blodgett Canyon in the Bitterroot National Forest. The campground is along the Blodgett Creek. Each has a table and fire ring. Vault toilets. No water. Blodgett Canyon Trailhead is nearby. Open May 15 through November 1. No camping fee. Maximum day 5.
Directions: From Hamilton, MT go west on Main Street for 1 mile, turn north (right) onto Ricketts Rd. and travel 0.5 miles. Turn west (left) onto Blodgett Camp Rd/FS 736, and follow approximately 4 miles to the campground.
