There is 1 campsite at the Bear Creek Campground located on the Bear Creek in the Bitterroot National Forest. The site has a picnic table and fire ring. Vault toilets available. Hitching rails and stock ramp available. No water. The Bear Creek Trailhead starts at the campground. Fishing enjoyed in the creek. Open May 15 through September 15 weather dependant. The maximum stay is 14 days.
Directions: From Stevensville take the Stevi cut-off road to Highway 93. Travel south (left) 10.8 miles and turn west (right) onto Bear Creek Rd. Go 2.3 miles and turn north (right) at Red Crow Rd. Travel 0.8 miles and turn left to remain on Red Crow Rd. Continue 0.3 miles, Red Crow will turn into Bear Creek Rd/Bear CreekTrail. Travel approximately 2.5 miles to the trailhead.
