Ousel Falls trailhead is located 2 miles from Big Sky's Town Center.  It is a beautiful lush trail that is well-maintained,  family and stroller friendly.  It is a 1.8-mile round trip hike that takes about an hour depending on how long you sit at the falls or enjoy a picnic at one of the many picnic tables available along the shaded trail and at the falls. The river is the South Fork of the West Fork of the Gallatin River.

Directions: Take US-191 south to 64 west (Lone Mountain Trail Road) in Big Sky. Turn Left onto Ousel Falls Road in Big Sky's Town Center.  Travel for 2 miles and Ousel Falls Trailhead will be on your left.
