At one time this was a major railroad town and had a roundhouse. The train still goes through town but doesn't have much need to stop. The railroad bought the right-of-way from Odelia Logan in 1885 and named the town for her. Today its main business is the legendary The Land of Magic Steakhouse. They hold Annual Branding Parties the first weekend in May and area ranchers leave their marks on the walls of the restaurant.
